There are three professional photographers who sit on the side of the road on the Dragon shooting several photos of anything that comes by and selling the high res versions for a price from their websites. In this case, the 3456X2304 original was $6. I chose this one because I liked the angle of the shot and the background.
That was part of a 5 hour long ride I was on that morning to enjoy the area and the unseasonably warm weather. The bike is a 2007 Kawasaki KLR 650 that I got used on February 12 2013. I added the windshield extension and enough cases to have carrying space out the wazoo. See a recent post in my FA journal for more detail. The next morning was very rainy and the next was a low of around 40.
Deals Gap is a popular and internationally famous destination for driving enthusiasts (of motorcycles and sports cars), as it is located along a stretch of two-lane road known as "The Dragon" since 1981 .[2] The 11-mile stretch of the Dragon in Tennessee is said to have 318 curves. Some of the Dragon's sharpest curves have names like Copperhead Corner, Hog Pen Bend, Wheelie Hell, Shade Tree Corner, Mud Corner, Sunset Corner, Gravity Cavity, Beginner's End, and Brake or Bust Bend. The road earned its name from its curves being said to resemble a dragon's tail

At the resort, I got a dragon plush which I attached to the topcase after I got home that morning
