I've considered learning to do it myself as well. I think if you could get something like a Messenger bag or a purse made out of Maile that it would look amazing with an Inlay. Even a small purse with a nice long chain for the strap with an Inlay from your favorite game, anime or otherwise would probably be a really cool thing to have.
