First off, never in my life did I think I would own one of these things.
I picked up this Singer Merritt 1802 on craigslist for $25.00.
I can take a car engine apart and put it back together, solder tiny electronic circuits and build a working radio from scratch but I haven't a clue on how to work this mythical machine!
Soon as I learn how to use this thing, progress on the fursuit can continue!
Please feel free to share any sewing tips!

I do not make fur suits but, a fair price. Singer is a good home model and you can get them cheaper. You might want to use denim or canvas needles.
For some commercial quantity supplies I have a few links ( If you want them.) and industrial needles do not work on domestic sewing machines. It ruins the timing on them.
