It was a strange thing to balance how she looks in my style - getting her to look like a guy was easy enough, but keeping enough of a feminine appearance for when she starts singing was a bit more interesting.
And like Tempo said, just about everyone in the novel thinks she's a guy. :)

Wow, I wasn't expecting a music video :) This is just charming, and like in your last animation, it's fantastic to see characters brought to life in your style. The lip synchronization and the feeling of their interaction with each other is really wonderful. I'll have a look at the story!

Haha! Well believe it or not, the original intent was to animate the entire song. It's just that it would have been 3 times as much work (at least) since most of the animation takes place in the second half. It's a shame, but maybe I'll get to work on it at some point in the future.
Hmm, strange. I've tried watching it through the download link and I'm getting the same issue. 
LatransThatcher suggested downloading it to your computer and watching it there, but I think that only works if you have the stand-alone flash player installed. Shouldn't be too hard to find, though.

Thanks, I've downloaded a copy and have successfully watched it on Media Player Classic.
It's only showing the left upper corner of the full video when I watch it on this page.
I've emailed you a screenshot to demonstrate what I see on the FA page. No amount of playing with my screen size fixes the issue. I even reinstalled the latest version of Shockwave for Firefox.

My brain is running multiple errors trying to comprehend the awesome it just saw, so I'll just say "That was freaking awesome", shall I? =P

I've just got to say that I totally love how this came out, I can't imagine how much time and effort went into its creation, but I think you did a fantastic job all around! I bought the book months ago but never slowed down to read it, seeing this really inspired me to track it down and finally give it a go. I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it immensely, and I think this wonderful work of yours complements it very well!
