Joe Tachibana, age eighteen. A modern-day student and prospering athlete, Joe is the sole son of two Japanese immigrants who left their homeland to start a new life in the United States. His behavior is often outspoken, cocky, and impulsive, albeit playfully so; his philosophy seems to be that he can outrun any threat that can't be joked or reasoned with, making him a bit of a show-off. He isn't much of a jerk, he's simply lacking in humility.

He fancies himself an avid gamer as well as a notable athlete, often balancing his spare time between running laps and sitting in front of a screen. His taste in clothing reflects his interests, usually wearing a PK Love track suit to most any occasion.
