My current prices are $17 per hour or, if you would like to give me full artistic freedom with the piece (toss me a character and let me do whatever I desire with them), a discounted rate of $15 per hour. (5 hours minimum on artistic freedom commissions to receive the discounted rate.)

Commissions are generally arranged in advance, but occasionally I also taking 1-3 hour "speedypaint" commissions on-the-spot in stream. (The first panel above is an example of a one hour speedypaint.)

I know the per hour model spooks some folks who are not used to it, so to simplify, here are the three basic ways that you can approach commissioning me:

1) Fixed Quote: Note/email me with your idea and request a fixed quote, and I will provide you with the number of hours I honestly think it will take to do the best job possible on your piece. If I go over time on a fixed-quote model, the extra time is on me! One price paid up front.

2) Hour Cap: Have a specific budget? Tell me what it is, and I will work within the time restraints of what you wish to pay. I am not afraid of speed painting! But be advised that the more subjects and complexity in an image idea, the more time is necessary to depict your idea. I recommend at least 4 hours per full character to receive a real level of detail, but have more loosely depicted full characters in as little as 2. I am, however, not a miracle worker! I will let you know if I think your idea is too complex for your proposed hour cap.

3) Say When: Turn me loose. Let me work until I feel your piece is finished, and then pay for the actual time spent at the end - or just let me work and stop me whenever you feel satisfied with the piece.

I stream my work live whenever possible, so you can come see the hours live if you wish! I only charge for actual time worked. Any time when I am not actively drawing and painting, I stop the clock.
