There's so much going on in the world right now. I know it's been a rough year for me emotionally, and sometimes it helps to think there is something out there guiding me - even if it's just my own inner light and spirit.

The horse is a great embodiment of a guardian spirit, which is why I chose him to symbolise it. He stands here, shielding his charge from the wind. She is safe against his muscled shoulder. He is ready to spirit her away from danger if need be.

I really want to make it a piece someone can go to when they feel sad or lonely or overwhelmed by the evil in the world, and feel at least a little comforted.
