Sun! Oh, blessed sun! Thank you for not abandoning us forever!

I've had this one done for almost a week. But it has been wet and overcast and miserable. Today, the sun finally came out and I could get pics!

I have the formula nailed down now. From here I can get consistent results. The length is good, at 23" and it has a nice wide taper 9.5" wide. I really like how the bottom of the color lays over the top of the white. Not thrilled with the U shaped tip, I think I will go back to 10" for those.

I also started working on figuring out the best ways to photograph these to sell on Etsy. For several of the shots, it looks like it is going to take 2 people.

As a complete aside. I've been knotting these up while watching Robot Combat League. Don't know what I will do when the season is over.

The numbers:
23" long, 9.5" at the widest point.
40 tufts of white: 20@10, 20@11
155 tufts of magenta: 35@11, 35@10, 40@9, 35@8, 10@7
72 strand core cut on 23" form

Next Experiment: Cut all white on 10" form. Reduce the 8" and increase the 7", maybe by 10-ish. If that doesn't get the tuft count over 160, shorten the core by 1"
