So, this is the first "commission" work I've done in say, 4 years? Wow. I can't even compare the older stuff. Cost the low price of $0 too, since I wanted to get some real practice in before I figure out pricing for my work. Art is more important than money.

I can't understand how you did so many details in so few time!, amazing job with the background, I also like the colours on the dragon, I've never seen an orange with green stripes dragon, it's something that one doesn't tends to imagine, at least in my case, because it's kinda impossible to draw a good looking dragon with those colours, you did a great job!
I've contemplated it for a long time, it's stunning, but too much peace, life, light, and wonderful things hurts my soul :<
If you want some criticism/opinion from a n00b artist like me: I think the two dragons flying in the background should have more lighting, also, they could be smaller, otherwise they look like if they were giant, unless they're giant :B (I do imagine that if they land near the orange/green dragon, they would be bigger than the tree, I could be wrong though)

Many thanks my kind sir! I guess speed is something I'm developing as well. Took fkin forever to settle on the dragons color, but I like the end result much more than I expected. I don't always draw beautiful things, but when I do I like to make it dramatic.
You're right about the pair of dragons in the back, I put little time & thought into them since I'd already spent so many hours on this. They're definitely intended to be larger than the little wingless whelp chillin' under the tree, but yeah could be smaller now that you mention it. Very good to know.
