I love reenactments

Pretty impressive weapon that faux-Hun's got.

There are different levels, ranging from casual once-in-a-while reenactors to people who take it super seriously.
And *of course* reenacting is better than real war. People don't actually die during reenactments. Conversely, though, there are members of the public who would love for reenactments to be more authentic.
Trust me, there's a lot to read into on the subject of reenacting.
