This is a semi old thing I took some time ago. It seems to work as a decent crosseyed 3d method.
I have a few others as well coming soon. This one in my mind isn't my best so yeah.... more to come. XD

Nope, done manually. XD Took a pic with left eye, then slid camera to right, took same pic. Went into paint and put left eyed pic on right side of right eyed pic and there you have it. XD I say 3d as when you do the crosseyed viewing method (crossing your eyes) you will see what I mean by 3d. ^^ I did a bunch more. The others might be easier to see the "3d" aspect.
Stereo pair photos date back to the 19th century. You can see the picture in 3D if you look at it right.

This info might help you figure out what it is exactly what I am doing or how to do it:

Don't complain if you can't do it. sadly, Some people just can't do it.
When you do do it, it is similar to the effect whenn wearing those red & blue glasses. That is what I mean when I say 3d. Not as in 3d models and stuff.
Your eyes automatically cross when yu say, have something far away and slowly bring it closer to your face to keep it in focus.
You can try your luck with ones where the bacground isn't so "complex" One way to do it is to choose something that is in both ppics as a type of thing to try & line up. Focus on lining that item up and the rest should fall into place if you hold it for a second or two.
Just because you may not be able to do it now, doesn't mean it is impossible. I simply may not be wording things correctly and might be a bit for what might be a bit of frustration. I do not know. All I am saying is to keep an open mind and practise. Many others can do it, some better then others.
