There's been some crazy stuff happening here in Cambridge MA. Robberies, then a shooting on my old campus, then a chase and gunfight. They think it's the people who bombed the Boston Marathon. I've been staying up late biting my nails at the continuing developments. But apparently I have a fairly single-track mind, because I kept myself busy with working on making a miniature top hat for an event I'm in tomorrow--it's a LARP where I'm playing the Mad Hatter.

All today, I designed it in Rhino (CAD program), laser-cut it out of leather, dyed it black, wet-formed it and sewed it together. Most of the sewing was done while I was watching events unfold. It's still wet and a bit malleable.
