OKAY! This song is in Czech! If you know Czech then PLEASE help me with the diction...I just KNOW it isn't all right! So the help would be more then welcome!
This is one of my favorite arias EVER! It's from the opera Rusalka which is based off the same book The Little Mermaid is based off of. The character I am playing is...well...Rusalka (aka Ariel) and I am singing to the moon asking it to tell my love (The prince) that I am waiting at the water for him. ^__^
This is from early last year!

Wow. You certainly have a VERY lovely and powerful instrument there! Kudos! That was a wonderful interpretation of a beautiful aria. My only suggestion with regard to Czech diction is not to devoice the ř (r with hacek). It should sounds like a trilled R combined with a ž (zh) sound instead of a SH sound.
Believe it or not, it's not that hard. It's just like how you'd say "Dvořak". The two sounds happen more or less in very quick succession. It's not an easy sound to get right (and according to one site I read, a lot of Czechs have problems with it and it's the last sound they learn as kids). Just don't devoice it to a SH sound. Sing it as if you were singing RZH.
