Yeah it was. Not completely lineless, but still a good practice with fur/shading. I don't blame you, the only reason I do each stroke of fur is because I'm too dumb to think of another way to do it lol.

Im pretty sure you can create brushes that have that texture in them... but you wouldnt have the same amount of control as you would by painting each and every individual hair.
