Just more fur practice..... I don't like how this came out though =/ Now there's nothing technically wrong with this I guess, I know a bunch of you are going to say it looks fine anyway, and it does... but something about it I just don't like, the fur didn't do what I wanted it to. So I got fed up and gave up half way through.
Anyway, just random picture of another wolf girl because they're easy to draw and I can make whatever natural grey brown colours I want and it still works *laughs* Anyway... yeah. Hopefully the next one will look more how I want it to. We'll see!

Well the look of the fur overall is nice, however I think you're trying to make the fur 'chunky' and that's what is making it look odd. When people stylize fur, they'll make 'chunks' of fur, but if you're drawing realistically then it doesn't work so well.
Try drawing a nice soft edge (lots of little thin 'chunks') around all the convex curves, in this case her butt, tail, and shoulders. Then don't shade in the chunks so darkly, instead just give the chunks 'highlights' that follow the grain of the fur.

Hahah, i see what you're saying... and I agree, to a point. But I'm sorta going for a specific look... it involves some chunking of the fur. I just have to make it looka little smoother and do a better job of the transitions between chunks and non-chunks... but I'll take a good look at what you said and try and make what I'm doign look a little better. x3 Thanks. :P
Hahah, you have to understand. No artist should- and most actually can't- say "good enough" when it comes to their own work. Good enough "for now" is okay, but never,ever good enough. If you stop trying to get better at things, what's the point of even drawing? Well, my fur is the thing that's bothering me right now, and I -know- I should be able to do better with work. So I'm working at it. XD That's all :P
*huffs* I hate that female nipples are considered 'mature'. It makes no sense to me xD

Actually it makes no sense to me either, to be honest. *laughs* Guys nipples are shown off all over the place like nothing, but a single girl nipple and OHNOESPR0N. D: Makes no sense. But eh... that's the stupid world we live in. I don't make the rules, I just laugh at them. xD
