AfDt's are similarly deployed as the ODST's of halo, except that Drop troops jump out of a gun ship and do several flips before maxing out they're burst packs and lightly landing on the ground, they are used in mass numbers, the are not as heavily armed as most troops but are made of veterans of several tactical and commando drops, whether behind enemy lines at night or right into the roof of a fortress, they get it done
