Well as any of my friends can attest to, I usually meet such things with copious amounts of sarcasm or look up the facts.In verbal conversation it tends to go more towards the sarcasm though :)
And heck, the sooner I make a start on writing it, the sooner I can finish and do the bloody comic of it I've been wanting to do for the last 6 years.

You don't come across as arrogant (except with that always right comment, haha) to me, but more just well spoken and reserved.

Also, I feel you on the horrible grammar comment. Some internet colloquialisms are helpful, such as "brb" or "wtf." Things that quickly and succinctly get across the idea or emotion have their use. But someone typing totally in abbreviation just gets fucking IRRITATING for me.

I really don't get how or why people would do it. It's all fine for texting on a mobile phone since there's a limited space for text, but online it just gets annoying to have to read through it and decipher the meaning before you can respond.

And the "always right" thing was kinda irony compared to the arrogant statement :)

I'm a bit of a grammar freak myself, I hate to see anything misspelled in any comment I make. Which is why I tend to type slowly and then proof read the whole message (sometimes twice) to make sure everything looks okay.

I know that feeling, although I often forget to proof read so that has me kicking myself when I find a mistake after having hit the send button.

grammar freak? you have no idea, and i'm going to an engineering school. We've two english courses total (both as freshman,) and math for all ten semseters. These guys can do calculus in the n'th dimention while programming a robot to pick up a pencil via lazer guided system, but can barely read and write. SEVERELY overbalanced. i mean, even some of the teachers have sucky grammar. really grinds me.

Ugh, teachers with poor grammar or general language skills can get on my nerves to. Mainly just for the fact that they should really know if they're going to be in that position.
And yeah, those guys sound REALLY overbalanced in their skills...

On the furry note; yes, I guess I'm officially part of the fandom, but I just don't personally consider myself a furry. I suppose I don't like to limit or categorise myself or something, but it's just my personal view. Nothing against furries though :) (Well, the one's that can remain cool and reasonable, that is)

oh yeah, i mean there's drama everywhere and sometimes no avoiding it, but it's nothing past me to be an appreciator more than a participant :3

Seems like you're also a busy procrastinator, as I like to call it. Much to do that keeps you busy, but also find plenty of time to put it all off. Pretty much what I am, and part of what's keeping me from writing the story. The other reason being that I'm not a writer so it's a bit harder to come up with something more coherent than a collection of random scenes.

And it's good to know I don't come across as arrogant. I just might seem that way in real life at times, though only when I know I right about something.
Which is always fun for my friends :)

Definitely feelin what you said about not being a writer. I had a roommate last year who was a creative writing major and he put down page after page, making it seem easy. Now, I sit down to write (if I get that far) and try something myself and I just can't get it flowing right.

Ah, well. Just gives me something else to put off as I'm shooting aliens on Xbox lol
