...psssht, he's definetely not missing the upper body armor because I'm lazy/can't draw armors, it's just that Aries is impatient and imprudent ("What the heck do I need an armor for? I'm so strong I can kill anyone before they can even touch me! It's just a waste of time putting that thing on!") xDDDDD
Plus I know lots of people don't feel comfortable with armors :U
And I totally see him giving some epic "middle finger"s with those gloves xD
