One of the pictures I took at Safari's Animal Sanctuary (the charity Oklacon raises money for <3) today. Since I went to Oklacon, I got 'special treatment' and was allowed to go behind the first cage barrier so I was only seperated from the big cats by one layer of steel. It was amazing!
These two were incredibly affectionate, and the lion in back kept pacing because he wanted to get some lovin' from the keeper too :P

I got a BIG scare from another lion (he had a brown mane, I'll post him in my scraps <3) - he leaped onto the cage and growled rather loudly at me and the keeper. XD
You know, if you live anywhere near Oklahoma, you could go to Oklacon - they sponser Safaris - and then later on to the animal sanctuary (also in OK), where you'll get the 'VIP treatment' (:

OH! And another thing about Safaris, they have a Tiger House you can rent out for a night for forty dollars! You get this little house right inbetween the tigers/lions cages, it doesn't have a bathroom but there's a port-o-potty close by. You get to go around outside after dark if you stay in it or the Wolf House! ($120, but it has a kitchen and full bathroom and a TV) both are heated :O
