With my new laptop, a ton of my plugins stopped working (damn you windows 8!) so while I'm going to find a couple of nice plugins to use (oh please recommend me some free VSTis that work well! D:), I decided to make a song purely out of 3xOsc.
Classic cheesy sound that I overuse all the time. And being the lazy fox I am, of course, I didn't forget to make it in the exact same key as 60% of my other songs.
Could expand this to a full song (oh god, a full song of cheese?) if this is liked enough, and I feel the inspiration to do so. Though I really feel like working on a more serious sounding project instead.
Total number of 3xOscs used: 18.

But that classic cheesy sound is what I love the most. Yes! I would love a full song of tasty cheese. Oh and it sucks that your new laptop has Windows 8 on it. When I buy a new computer, (which is hopefully really soon) I'm also gonna buy a copy of Windows 7 to install on it instead of Windows 8.
Eventually, everyone will start using windows 8 or higher, so it's going to be hard to avoid switching. Look at all those XP users who now are facing no more support from microsoft or 50% of new programs that are being developed.. But maybe one can stick to windows 7 for a good 10 years before switching (to maybe Windows 10 or something? I dunno.)
Though, I've been using vista for ages (hey, it isn't THAT bad after all, once all the new service packs and stuff come in that fixes most of the problems).

Ah yes... win8 is the devil! I'm in the process of trying to upgrade all my gear too... currently rely on an ancient xp desktop pc which is on its last legs.
Some of my old time fav free vst's are triangle2 and LLPL2, but my current 'free' ones are Audjoo helix, microtonic and alchemy AE.
Pro tip, making tracks in the same key makes them really easy to merge together

Upgrade to 7! Skip 8 :P
Nah, 8 isn't THAT bad once you get used to it. If you care more about speed than user interface (which can be replaced anyway), windows 8 is awesome :3 I've tweaked windows 8 to feel like windows 7 anyway.
One day, I should really make a mashup of all my songs that have been in the same key and bpm :P
37 knobs and 16 sliders and counting! We need moaaarrrrr~

I did try it... just the fact you have to hack the crap out of it really put me of and that none of my laptop drivers worked anymore forced me to factory reset to 7 :(
Want moar knobs? http://www.audjoo.com/Helix/img/ful.....screenshot.png Note the tab for 3rd and 4th oscillators, and the fact you can have 16 instances of each. That's SIXTY FOUR wave instances... Dat supersynth sound *drools* oh and it somehow runs great on an ancient xp system... hehe

It's not how many oscillators you have, it's how you use em. You totally reminded me of an old mashup I did ... so I uploaded it :D http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10366871/
the music reminds me of "Code Lyoko" (juste the the beginning of your music) ^w^
