This is a gift for a friend, it's of our characters on Improbable Island. Torc is a former soldier who had his brains scrambled by an explosion so he's a simpleton. Xan is... well... a more amazing version of me. She's a disgraced angel who falls in love easily, takes care of people, but very morose. Torc is very protective of her and often demands she sleep in his arms so her nightmares don't bother her. They are secretly lovers, she married him silently. He understands why she doesn't tell others, because she would be viewed as taking advantage of him. He knows enough about the world to know that. Where as most of her other loves have people as well, Torc only wants her.
