In the last month or so of my working at the laser shop, I had this idea for pendant necklaces that I just had to make.

It's a maple leaf, made out of maple wood.

I don't know, puns get me every time. I'd like to make some more: oak is a natural, birch would be nice, maybe walnut or cherry would also work well. I had been planning on selling these through the shop, but now I need to figure that out again. I have an Etsy storefront for chainmail, which I would be fine using for the leather stuff I've been making, but this sort of product makes no sense next to the chainmail.

Anyway, it's 2 inches tall, laser-cut and etched out of 1/8 inch thick hardwood, on a stainless steel ball chain. It's finished with tung oil. If someone wants one before I figure out where to sell it, I'm putting a preliminary price tag of $15 on it. Note me and I'll make a new one for you.
