Another shot from the 2006 collection I dug up. This is the West Coast F/A-18C demo jet performing a simulated carrier landing near the end of it's performane. I like the timing of this, as the nose gear hasn't even compressed yet, yet you can see a hit of burner flame near the engines. Definitly showing how fast-paced a carrier landing is!
