So!
Friend of mine had a hornet in resin (died naturally THEN preserved <3) and I spent a good 2 hours playing with it while we talked.
She offered to let me keep it actually but that wouldn't have been fair :P

The whole time I was playing with it though I was doodling this. It's not perfect, it's so close to the middle of the page her wings go over and It's a bad photo of a sketch but I'm still REALLY proud of it.

May ink it when I get an actual scanner (Still not D:)

This is Vespa! (Name provided by )
She's about 5'8" tall, friendly if nervous.
Her family moved away and more or less left her behind when someone burned out their home.
Despite being anthro, the tourist hotspot they used to live around didn't like them and so quietly tried to smoke them out... things got out of hand and lives were lost along with a home.
Luckily Vespa doesn't really remember it because she was so small but she wasn't able to follow and so she lives more or less alone apart from her friends in a much more tolerant community close to where she once lived <3
