ok so I was mislead before, this is the actual pump the other thing (which I will rename quickly) is actually a water inlet. oops. oh well, I pulled this from the heap of metal in the back of my car and I have marked it as the next thing to be cleaned and restored...yes I'm procrastinating on the engine and the head, I have 2 of them and honestly.. I hit them with every chemical known to man and a pressure washer strong enough to cut through a human. nothing cuts the grease and..I don't want to spend 12 days scraping grease honestly... I will just clean everything else first ok

anyway back to the pump, I did a check on it first to make sure it didn't leak and it passed, filled it with water, pluged the holes and nothing came out of the pump except through the fill hole where the hose was. so with that I find out.. we have a dent in our hose and a perfectly ok water pump. I was thinking about painting it glossy black instead of the orange red engine enamal, I need some contrast but idk what does everyone think?
