Ok so good news and bad news, of the 2 fuel pumps I had (the original and the remake) I had enough parts to create a working fuel pump. unfortunatly the top of the original fuel pump had become so corroded that the interior parts were actually falling off which is very bad. I did steal the oricinal brass filter from the old filter though. with some prying I coaxed it off to find that it is actually a bigger inlet and since brass doesn;t rust like steal I wont get crap in my fuel.
