No the Tanooki Cup isn't real, I just made it up so I could mix up four of my favourite courses and avoid having FG race against the celebrities of the kingdom. Honestly I had a REAL blast with this, it's awesome to be able to give FG his enthusiasm back again after having suppressed himself for a while.
Koopin seems to enjoy it too, nothing like a greased-up boyfriend revving up on his bike to make him quiver~
