Art trade for  FenghuangQilin's dragon character Jadell.

This trade took me forever to fulfill. I was originally drawing  FenghuangQilin's other character, Elder. It ended up looking silly.

I started drawing Jadell but there was just way too much going on with him for me handle her character as eloquently as she needs to be drawn.
I sent a PM to  FenghuangQilin & added that I just saw this motion comic that reminded me a little of Jadells ornateness.

 FenghuangQilin said they already like the series & that eventually led me to creating this. Dragon VS Alien. I made a silhouette of the alien female scientist investigating Jadell the Dragon. It's hard to see but they pop out well enough so that they can still be seen. I waited till sunset & ran around in a field near by my place till I got this photo. I lowered the red the most in the photo so the darks looked almost black but not the same as the layer with Jadell & the alien.

I like the way this turned out. The eyes are my favorite. The weak sliver of an eye for Jadell & the deep alien eye. I used "Oil Brush 7" with blacks & white over this nice blue color. It was a good experiment. I like the red communication lights I put on her too.
