Here is an updated sample of the furry board game. Loosly based off of the Monopoly game principle, but now more in its own direction with more differnent additions and changes.
This is a prototype design,. and hope to get a working protype completed and built to try out at FCN next weekend.
- - Still need a good name for it though and open to suggestions !

I have not added in the " Con costs" yet for each con & furry meet, also need to work on the " Swag Bag" cards, and the " Furmeet" cards, the Dealers table & Art panels pieces & their costs/pays, and the game pieces.

Personally, I would put Further Confusion in Park Place, because it was started BEFORE Midwest Furfest, and got big/famous much earlier than Midwest Furfest did. It was always the "Big Con" on the West Coast and AnthroCon was the "Big Con" on the East Coast. I'd keep them together in the Park Place / Boardwalk spots....it looks weird to have them in separate sections.
Oh I have a great idea for the background! Have 3 or so random furries (original characters or not) standing in front of some convention centers/hotels in the distance, with their arms crossed. In their paws, they're holding various items like plane tickets, con books, and money of course :3
Maybe I could try to draw a sketch for you so you can actually see what i'm trying to say (my art sucks though lol)

I like the title of 'Furry! The Game'. It's short and to the point. I'm unsure as to how much thought has gone into this, but I assume that instead of monopolising as in the original, you're trying to become the most popular furry, assuming the ' currency' is, say, FurAffinity watches instead of money. All this assuming that the aim of the game is to become the 'Popufur'. All in all, I love this concept and I can't wait to see more. Hopefully the cons involved will allow usage rights and this can go up for sale. I'd love to have this to pull out for game night with non-furries.
rigth now this is just a personal game prototype. I will have to aquire perrmissions from all the cons before somthing like this were to be produced for sale.
- If you or anyone here know con committee head-members of the cons listed, then i would like to hear their feed back on this here if possible.
Its easy for me to remove a con and substitute it with another if required or requested to do so.

It's a fantastic idea and something I'm surprised hasn't been made yet. As for the cons, perhaps if this game becomes popular, a deal could be worked out with the con in the area of promotion and perhaps a copy donated for use of the name. But, I'm sure most of the cons would be fine with the use of their name, as it would promote them. Flurries who play may see a con name they've not seen and suddenly want to attend. The possibilities are endless.

background? Generic hotel background with a foreground of maybe two furries, one obvious suiter, and a crazy artist with a sign that says SALE. just tossing some idea out there. I LOVE this idea, i hope it comes along, i'd be first in line to buy a board.

Well largest and most *fun* cons have to go in of course if you want it accurate based on the wikifur numbers?.
Con or Bust can work too, not as catchy though so a bit of a hard sell there but odder names for games have done darn well..witness kerplunk ;). or Uno *laugh*
The furry cards will be the fun twist from win second place in a fursuit contest to pay 50 bucks for wining bid in adult fur bid at con sorts of cards. Of course depending on age some cards could have a *adult* version and a regular more normal player friendly version..aka like apples to apples vs cards against humanity ;).
I could see buying a copy of this as a dealers den for 10-20 and each con can have X amount go as charity to avoid any legal issues over a non for profit con making sales..although lord knows how those laws work per con and state/province cods ;/.
