Matthew was your average perfect kid; Intelligent, tall, handsome, athletic, and perfect grades. He has a sharp tongue and witty remarks were his best weapons.. He can always think several steps ahead of you. When bullies try to fight him he doges each attack (although he is a skilled fighter) and let them hit their environment to defeat them. His father left him and his mother when he was 6 and this slowly started a strong hate for his father.
One day on his way home from school he saw a well dressed man and a couple of his thugs kill a man. The man saw Matthew and had his thugs chase after him. Matthew knew his way around the east side of the city but it wasn't enough. He was shot in a ally. The thugs thinking he was dead left him. Soon the ambulance showed up but he later died at the hospital.
When he died his soul was sent to a void, there a grim reaper greeted him. He told him that the man who had him killed was responsible for many other deaths. Matthew would be allowed to live as long as he brought the man to justice. Matthew agreed and was revived at the hospital. The hospital staff was astounded how fast Matthew recover he was released the following week. The police approached him and asked him if he saw who shot him, he lied and said he didn't, not wanting to risk him coming after him again. Matthew trying to figure out what had really happened, he found a sword, a mask, and a note on his bed. The note was from the grim reaper that spared him. The note named several new powers he now had. He could go invisible, fly, and he can now pass through anything. His vision and agility has also been greatly improved, now he can even see and stop a bullet. He can also heal wounds rather fast, a gunshot wound will be fully healed in a minute. His sword is special too. It can cut and stab like any other sword, but, any injuries on innocents caused by it will instantly heal if their serious blows. Small cuts will not be healed. people ordered to to a bad act for whatever circumstance will not be killed. His mask was the final gift from the reaper. Whenever he put it on it would instantly turn whatever clothes he is wearing at the time into his suit. It only works for him and the suit design was made by the reaper and all his powers and limitations are because of the reaper.
He learned that the man who killed him was the most successful businessman in the east side. However after a few first time investigations he learned that his man was also one of the top crime lords on the east side. Accepting his new role, he permanently dyed a part his hair white and called his new alter-ego "Ghost.' His goals, slowly destroy his illegal businesses, Take down all his allies, then finally get revenge
fun fact his middle name is Perrywinkle. He hates this name so much. and keeps it as his darkest secret.
