For some reason, I'm reminded of River Song from Doctor Who. Probably just the fact they both have blond curls, but it's an amusing connection to me none-the-less.

So tell me, because I'm lazy and haven't read all of the writing behind these characters, are we ever going to see these guys in a graphic novel of some kind, or are these just illustrations for a novel? I think I'd be interested in both either way. :)

I've never watched doctor who, so I'm not sure who River Song is, but she has a rad name, so I like her already * U*

These guuuys are characters from a rather large plot we're developing called Nevers! We're not 100% certain what format we're going to commit this story to, but it'll definitely be a very visual format--probably something to do with experimental digital story telling. We want to get a few unrelated, smaller, non-serial/'one shot' stories out first just to get a better feel for what we can to with the technology at our disposal. And then from there, we can kind of get a better idea as to what the most effective presentation for this particular brain child would be. So it probably won't see the light of day for a while as far as full on production is concerned, but we're always sorta working on and developing it in the background.
It's definitely our favorite child though, that's for sure. * U* <33

Hmm, Spriggans, Avatars, Lucids, Dreamers, and Sleepers! Oh my! I took a brief glance at your tumblr page's information on the world, and your group seems to have quite the interesting story forming. Am I correct in assuming Lucids and Dreamers are somehow able to interact with the ethereal elements, and "Sleepers" is code-speak for us everyday Joe-schmoes?

This is a project I'll have to keep an eye on. Not to mention spend some more time reading through your Tumblr. :)

Sounds like you've got the definitions figured out! * U* Lucids are capable of creating the weird apparitions, so they also see them and can (psychologically) affected by them. Dreamers can't create them, but can see and can be affected by them. And Sleepers, well--as you said, they're indeed us everyday joe-schmoes haha!
