Sketches - Deer and Passerines
Decided to do some sketches from photos I have taken during this previous Spring Break, with a decent amount of success I feel! Definitely something I want to do again, and keep doing. While the photos themselves aren't stellar, they are great for unique poses and viewpoints that I might not find from image searches online.

Really liking the delineation of the thigh plumage, it's a nice hint to the underlying structure of the bird. Anatomy on feathered creatures is so ridiculous sometimes, occassionally I feel like I'm just cartooning squash and stretch half the time because the streamlining is so intense.
