This is my oldest furry character I created a long time ago. Poor fella's name is Duo, he's a schizophrenic jackel, his schizophrenia caused in part by a minor demonic possession. He is the last in line of a great noble family, the most powerful and wealthy of 5. The story behind this piece is a kinda sad one.

Duo, though being in his mid 20's, is still very mentally fragile. He's fully mature, but due to his nature is untrusting. So he confided in, and was very very close to his mother. Well, one night he was awoken by a sharp sound, like that of breaking glass. He got up, and grabbed a metal bat from his closet. He ventured into the large living area to see a shadow gliding across the room toward his mothers bedroom.

Being very protective of her, he let loose with a mighty swing which was awarded with a loud "Crack". Of course, turning on the light... He noticed it had been his mother. This scene takes place a few years after that incident. Wracked with guilt, he continues to weep over the one who he had the most trust and love for in his life.
