This was a wrap-around-cover I did back in January for some kind of fantasy novel. Ever since I did my first wrap-around-cover last year, publishing companies kept requesting those. I guess they're kind of popular with the audience. :)
Anyway, unlike other works for publishing companies, the original of this painting might be put up for an auction on FA if there are people interested in purchasing it.
(Acrylics on Bristol paper, roughly about 22x35cm / 8,6"x13,7")
On another note ... I'm currently busy preparing for MMC and (still) catching up on various things.

Thank you, the white wash was needed to make the piece fitting for the title of the story ( "Das Geheimnis des Nebels" roughly translates to "The secret in the mist"). And of course to make it usable as a cover, since the mist serves as caption area. So the white wash wasn't entirely my own idea, but I'm happy to hear you like it. :)
I asked the publisher and (sadly) he said it isn't available in English and won't be any time soon. :/
I will announce it in a journal, though, if it happens to be available in English since I'm well aware of the fact that most people here are more familiar with English than with German.

Hm ... kommt wohl auch drauf an wie jung man sich noch fühlt. Der Hauptcharakter ist ja auch erst 16 oder so (zugegeben, Harry Potter hat auch prima für ältere Leute funktioniert), von daher muss man sich zumindest darauf mal einstellen. :)
Insgesamt scheint das Buch aber recht o.k zu sein (ich hab selbst erst 2 Kapitel gelesen, da ich bei diesem Buch tatsächlich mal kein komplettes Manuskript im Voraus bekommen habe sondern nur das erste Kapitel und eine recht genaue Beschreibung, was denn nun dargestellt werden soll).
Aber es freut mich sehr, daß es dir gefällt. :)
Und danke dir, das hoffe ich auch! Ich habe beschämenderweise feststellen müssen, daß ich erst gestern mein erstes Furry-Bild für dieses Jahr gemalt habe. D: Skizziert habe ich zwar einiges, aber fertige Bilder? Oh je ... na mal schauen. :)

Ich denke, es ist in jedem Fall für meine Mum ein nettes Geschenk für zwischendurch. :) Wenn es mir nicht gefallen sollte. ^^;
Und... das mit den Bildern kenne ich auch. Ich muss mich aktuell aktiv dazu zwingen was zu zeichnen. (Liegt aber auch am allgemeinen Sorgenpegel, weil unser Kater (mal wieder) ausgebüchst ist in Panik...)
Ich wette aber, du bekommst ne Menge Zeug noch genau rechtzeitig fertig. :)

Naja, ich muss mich ja nicht zwingen, viel mehr hatte ich das Problem in Papierkram zu ertrinken und die restliche Zeit hauptsächlich auf nicht-Furry-Kram zu verwenden. Aber wie gesagt, ist halt dennoch etwas beschämend wenn die MMC schon so bald ist.
