I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I'm trying to spread word because I no longer have possession of this costume because it was lost in transit. IF ANY COMMENTS UNHELPFULLY SAY 'Should have known' ETC ABOUT UPS THEY WILL BE HIDDEN. I OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOW... and I'm never using them again.

3/13 - Paid UPS to ship package from an Office Depot in NC, USA to a home in WA for a trip, USA 'Guaranteed' delivery on the 20th. Insurance & tracking paid for separately from shipping price.
3/15 - Tracking stops updating. Last says "Arrived in Hodgekins, IL".
3/20 - No delivery, no tracking updated.
3/21 - Called Office Depot and opened investigation. Tracking updates to list the investigation tracer/search. No further tracking updates are ever posted.
3/22 through 3/27 - Called UPS each day for an update/ask questions. Nothing posted on the package, no further information provided. Was told investigations last 8 business days, and packages are usually found within 4-5.

4/2 - 8th business day. Package not found. UPS sends investigation results to Office Depot (has UPS account for shipping) stating/admitting no attempt of delivery was made.

4/3- I'm still waiting to contact the Office Depot manager I spoke to about this situation, to talk about filing a claim for the insurance and a refund on what I paid UPS that they failed to do. While I have insurance, I would still much rather have my costume due to the sentimental value.

For the past 2 or so years this has been my "fursuit" and this costume and working on it initially had been a big part of helping me overcome a severe case of depression. This situation is a very heavy blow, and has made me very upset. I'm really hoping it can be found AND returned to me.
