Now here's an aircraft whose technology, and even it's capabilities, are scarcely comprehendable in the present day. I estimate it to roughly represent a 15th-Generation warplane. It can be found only in Taito's Rayforce, though fighters from Raystorm and Raycrisis are very similar in design and capabilities.

It's stats are overwhelming, but they are also deceiving --- the X-Lay's field of fire and attack range are essentially the same as those of today's warplanes, so if you were to get on it's six and maintain pursuit, you might end up with one hell of a kill mark!

Not that it's a pushover, mind you. Just one flight of X-Lays single-handedly laid waste to all of the Con-Human System's forces in a single sortie, a feat which all combined Human-side forces could not accomplish in over a century.
