Downloaded the SAI paint tool trial. I have CS4, but I've heard good things about SAI so I thought I'd play with it.

It feels more...relaxed than PS. Looser, and more organic. It responded better to changes in tablet pressure, and my linework looked less jiggly.

Now I don't use PS all that much. 95% of my design work is done in AI, and PS is mostly used to clean up product photos. So I'm not the best person to do product comparisons.

Is it enough of an improvement over PS that I will pay the $60 when the trial is over? Probably not. Would I recommend it to someone who needs a painting program but can't afford Adobe. Yes.

Now you guys get to see an actual drawing done by me. Well, all my drawings are done by me, but they usually spend a good time in AI before I let anyone see them.
