Is it bad, I would get a drink, walk up next to her and sit down handing it to her? Then start with conversation to cause the other males to back off providing someone to talk with, hang out with and a disguise to keep the normal male crowd away?

Which is always a shame, seems fairly anti-social and kinda fits my normal luck. But would lead to me telling her I hope her friends comes soon and just walking off, like a gent.
