Bicolor GSD paws.
Many people think they have a "Bicolor" Shepherd when their bodies are black and they have tan paws/legs. This is untrue. I'd say about 90% of the images on Google when you search "bicolor GSD" are untrue.
However, the correct way of telling a bicolor from a dark black/tan is by looking at their paws, back legs, and the ruff of their neck. Their paws should have "Painted nails" which is the black fur that extends up from their claws. The ruff of their neck should be black, and when you part the fur you will notice that the hair is actually grey. The bottom of the back feet should be completely black, with very little if any break of color on their hocks.
