I have no idea, since I know how to do more things in Maya now because I learn it in school. My max stuff is all self taught. But they both completely SUCK at something the other one does perfectly fine.
Can you make max's move tool move in 3 dimensions at once? Because after having that in Maya I just can't model without it. So great for modelling in the perspective viewwww

I do like all the plugins and features and tutorials available to it from it being open source, for instance seems to the most well documented way of modding Skyrim at the moment. Butttt I don't want to stuff my head with even more new software right now because of all the new things I learn in school too :)
