It's been a while since Nyoka the skunkette lamia swallowed that big griffon, and she finally coughs up all the indigestibles -- feathers, beak, etc. It seems she waited to do this until she had her next meals in hand, giving her hapless prey a good look at what's going to happen to them. It won't take nearly as long to digest Niden and Austin there as it did to digest the griffon....
