As I have been able to get solid data on the size, weight, armament, and maximum speed of the R-101, I have been able to cross-reference that info with that which is obvious in Ace Combat 3 to begin with (as well as my own best judgment), I have been able to create a COMPLETE datasheet on this airframe.
If you compare the R-101's features to those of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, you will find they are quite similar...

It has to be the worst railroading that Japan has done to the US game market since 1994, when Nintnedo promised Star Fox 2.
And speaking of Ace Combat 3, is it my imagination, or did UPEO do less "investigating" in the Japanese version, and more "Universal Peace Enforcement"?

I've played, and beaten every AC game, except for the ones on handhelds, and 6.
