Eric and Kevin reminisce

sirkain picked up last night's spontaneous midnight commission and requested that Eric Skunk and Kevin reminisce about old times. So I picked "KainCon," his yearly gathering in Virginia where I met a lot of cool people. But my main memory really is of the climate, which threw me for a loop... so here we go.

Seeing the plushie that Rian Real made of Kevin - and getting to show the one he made of Gene - are two of my fondest memories of KainCon.

Oh, I remember that, too -- and all the drawing, and the video games, and so on. It's just I don't think I'd ever experienced humidity like that. Ever. To the point where I wonder how the hell anyone could possibly walk outside.

I am writing that description down for future reference! *...mmrhnmr...wet angry embrace...* Some summer days are like that here in New England, too. "Walking into a blast furnace" is another common phrase up this way.

Yes, the humidity in the Mid-Atlantic area is miserable durng the summer (lived in Maryland for 29 years).

I used to think how dry the weather was up there.
