Not to be confused with Midean Graves. This is Midean the crocodile, who also belongs to
and fights with the Gauntlet as well.
Can you believe that before I drew this (and I drew this back in September), I'd never drawn an accurate crocodile before? Much less an anthro! So I blame any flaws on my lack of experience. However. I had an AWESOME reference for the head, which helped greatly, and the rest was pretty much ad-libbed to my recollection, though I did research crocodile tail and feet anatomy.
This is one of, if not the, favorite digital art piece I've ever done. And definately my favorite croc ever. :P
Midean belongs to whirlbat. Art belongs to me, as usual. No stealie. Colored in openCanvas, per norm.

what a nice version of an anthro croc. I can't see anything that would spoil this pic. I am not sure if crocs have digitigrade feet, but if not, doesn't matter. these legs fit really well. and since it's a work of you imagination who can say you're wrong? :)
hm, could also serve as a saurian. or soemthing along that line... I might even use that illo for a rpg character one day. may I?

What's an illo? *feels (and probably looks) dumb*
I never thought about the digitigrade feet.... and you're right, I don't think real crocs would have them. They'd be plantigrade. Oh well! Digitigrade feet is just the way I draw anthros, I suppose. :) Artist's preference! ^^

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I gotcha now. :D Thanks! I don't mind if you use the art, so long as you give me credit and, if it's online, link me to it. But as far as the character design itself, you'll have to ask whirlbat for that.
PS: If I posted this to you twice, I'm sorry! But I looked back on this today and realized I'd posted this comment to someone else! Sorry!

This hast to be one of the few wrestler type anthros I've seen who actually looks really good. He's not just a bunch of crazy bulging muscles like alot other stuff. He looks like a real crocodile fighter, who holds his head and who wears his wrestling trunks with confidence. XD seriously though, his crocodilian details are really striking.
Wow, someone who is interested in realism and backstory? Color me pleasantly surprised!
Anyway, Poim dragged me in since Midean and the Gaunlet are both my brainchildren. Basically the Gauntlet is a bare-knuckle fighting arena with a very limited set of rules. It's a place for warlords and aristocrats to pit their prizes against each other for entertainment and gambling purposes. Midean was a warrior-turned-slave from a conquered nation of reptiles, minotaurs and gnolls. Through his monumental success in the pit, he purchased his freedom, but continues to fight since... well... he's so darn good at it. ;P
