...Now, you remember the centers (the baby artichoke leaves) that I took I took out from the artichokes here, right?

All you need is those cooked centers - and you can always cut off the tougher parts right at the top part of the leaves...
About 1/3 cup pine nuts, toasted... (just use a small non-stick frying pan and make sure to keep an eye on your nuts so that way they don't burn - about a minute, minute and a half at most to cook!)
3 garlic cloves...
2 - 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil....
A pinch of dried basil...
salt and pepper to taste...
Put it all in your chopper / mini-chopper, blend until smooth AND SO FREAKING GOOD!
