I played around in Photoshop with some sketching techniques and such of Karin, for  vdo. He often gets many one shot techniques I try out and this might be another one.

This was made almost entirely in Photoshop with the exception of exporting this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10238313/ to Illustrator and use Livetrace to simplify the the picture to look more drawn than photomanipulated.

As the for sketch itself, started and black on white, then invert to white on black. Created a cheap, star brush, used some render filters, layer styles and lots of layer masks. It's sort of like finally finding artistic application for all the things I've learned as my newspaper graphic design job.

Probably took about 3-4 hours in all, but all during my bookstore job so obviously, I'm not constantly sitting, but I do sit a lot.

Note: yes, one paw has a moon grasped in it.
