I didn't even read over the title, heh. Early in the morning. However yeah they're a lot more detailed and involve a lot more pieces. The originals were kind of stiff and bland, also could be put together in about 10 minutes or so. So you would wind them up and they would walk/flap their wings/etc. Not very poseable. Then the HMM series came out which was basically a bit fun since there's more pieces and really looked a lot better.
