Here's a new picture of Harvest, a card master, who can summon creatures from cards...kinda like Yu-gi-oh, except they are real beasts and spells.

Not really surprising; aside from haunting the video isles, the only way to see them is on the Cartoon Network, cable channel. The latter is the only reason I know about it, myself. Released on video in 2008, it's notable for being one of a handful of films where the fantasy elements are real.
I bring it up, because in the beginning of the movie, Shaggy and Scooby are given a set of magical cards, each holding a single spell. The catch being that they can only be used once, and they wear off fairly fast.
While the effects are mostly comical, I could easily see Harvest's deck of cards, being something very similar, but with results that are much more complex, closer to Yugioh, or the Anime Card Captor Sakura.
If you ever have some time to kill, I'd love to help you identify a few of Harvest's cards. Who knows, you might get a drawing or two, out of it.

The idea I had was she can reuse cards(Monster, spell, trap, effect, and whatnot), and they would just be usable again after a period of time, pending on the card. If summoned a monster, it would be there till it was defeated or called back. She finds her card through research, as the cards are scattered across the globe, some are made by people of great power. I just started putting thought to the card basis they run on.
