You found it being thrown out? OH my, that was a lucky find. If I am lucky, one day I will purchase one... even if its just a rear and piece -_-.

Yeah, it was really random....even the street we were walking up was a random way for us to take to get back home. We'd normally just hit a main street, but we were with another friend and just enjoying taking the walk so we were weaving down smaller streets (which are abundant here in SF lol) It looked like they'd tried to make some sort of an art project with it because there were multiple areas with different colored paint on it...what really shocked me was that it wasnt broken at all and the metal base was with it, usually I'd expect that to be missing or it to be damaged in some way.

Luckily the lower halves are cheaper than the full body ones & lots of times businesses that are closing up will sell them for pretty cheap so I'd just casually be on the look out for a good deal on one (craigslist, ebay, etc. would be good for that ALSO check out this one : http://www.lvmannequins.com/ ...from what I saw they have pretty cheap ones)

Thanks so much. Ya, I will be investing in one, once my craft room is done. I need a display to better show off tails and a background drop so my submissions look a tad better than what they have been recently.

You're welcome :) it seems like that last link I sent does allow general public purchases, not just businesses so that's a plus. I was thinking about saving up for a couple of them myself. I love the cool colored heads they have & some of the poses are pretty neat for them as well.

Hmmm just looking at it again, they are located in Vegas. I wonder if they permit the public to come by their location and purchase or if its online only. I will be in Vegas In May for ESG.

You could probably send them an email about it, I'm sure you're not the only one who's inquired about it. I wasnt sure if they had an actual store location either.
