This was only 1/2 of my contest entry for the Mascot contest for the FAN:DOM convention in 2012. Magic vs Mecha I did not win... but I still like my design. I mean... LOOK AT DAT ASS! That is all. ♥
If I can find the time for it I'll enter for the 2013 contest and give it another shot. This year will be Cute vs Scary if I remember right. This year's design wont be as flashy since I learned that's obviously not what they were after. I'll tone it down and throw some cosplay all over the place. Maybe if my cosplay choices aren't too obscure it'll be a hit. The only weird requirement I'll have to some how fit into it all... cephalopods everywhere! The girl has an octopus/squid on her head... they said either is fine... and the boy needs a nautilus on his head. :x
Yeah I am a bit butthurt but I did work on this for over a month. (Each image had to be HUGE... thank goodness FA scales things down for me. XD)
( Also 1,000 internet points for the person who finds my secret hidden signature. Okay not really a contest or whatever but my sig is hidden within this monster of an image. The original dimensions was 2500 x 3300 Pixels as were/are the contest requirements.... )

(( For those of fancy pants variety... yes I know I posted this online. The rules stated that I can post my art online after a winner has been announced. When I asked after the winner has been announced months and months back if it would be alright now to post it I was given a wishy washy answer of "Yes you can but we might still use it if you don't... maybe." Or something along those lines... I can fish for the exact statement but whatever. No one is using it and for me to work months on it for no one to see it made my brain hurt. I draw art for people to enjoy it... even if the person is just me. Sorry, I ran off on a rant there. Lol. XD ))
